Job description
Position Title: Performance Quality Assurance Test Engineer
Work Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Job Summary:
- The Project requires to create automated performance scripts, execute the performance test, identify the bottlenecks, provide/take-up tuning opportunities, work with Performance Test and work on multiple projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and collect the non-functional requirements from different Stakeholders.
- Experience in creating workload model based on usage patterns and growth projections.
- Ability to clearly characterize system performance to stakeholders Strong experience in scripting with performance tools.
- Experience in designing different types of scenarios like Performance, Load, Stress and Scalability etc.
- Analyze the test results and produce the reports and present to the management for key decisions.
- Good understanding on end to end application performance monitoring in multi-tier environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Capable of understanding products and processes and break them down into testing component.
- Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile development methodology.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
- BE/BTECH degree in computer science, engineering.
- Minimum 4 years experience in Performance testing.
- 2 years of performance testing in JMeter performance tool is MUST.
- Must have experience in testing JAVA applications using Jmeter, Neoload or any other performance tool.
- Must have experience in Performance KPIs, Load, Stress and Scalability Testing.
- Must have experience in application monitoring utilities like Appdynamics, JProfiler and JConsole.
- Experience in database performance monitoring and debugging will be plus.
- Good to have hands on experience with API Testing.
